If you are a real estate agent using kvCORE or planning to do so, getting organized with your setup is essential. This blog will discuss five crucial things that can help you do that, both on the back and front end.

Organize Your Leads

Before setting up kvCORE, make sure your leads are organized. Check all the places where your leads might be hiding, whether you’re starting fresh or importing from another system. Use Excel to view notes and property alerts from other systems and integrate them into kvCORE.

Decide Your Website Name

Your website name is vital as it’s the first thing visitors see. You might want to use your name, group name, or something related to your work area. kvCORE allows you to set up a redirect, but make sure to set up the name servers correctly to prevent losing your website name while switching between pages.

Set Up Your Profile

Your profile is essential as it provides prospective leads with an idea of who you are and what you specialize in. Add your social media links, bio, and specialties to your profile section. If you have one, keep your information consistent across your brand and team.

Connect Your MLS

Connecting your MLS is crucial as it allows you to access and display accurate property data. Contact your brokerage or inside real estate team to connect your MLS and decide on the regions and territories you want to cover. You can expand later, so start with a few counties or areas and add more later.

Determine Neighborhoods and Cities

Lastly, determine the neighborhoods and cities you want to cover in more detail and customize your website accordingly. You can add neighborhoods and cities by using kvCORE search bar or by manually adding them in. It helps with SEO and makes your website more user-friendly.

By following these five tips, you can get started with kvCORE and ensure that you have a well-organized and user-friendly website. Stay tuned for my upcoming blogs, where we will delve deeper into each topic.

In conclusion, setting up kvCORE can seem daunting, but following these tips can ensure a successful setup. Take the time to organize your leads, decide on your website name, set up your profile, connect your MLS, and determine your neighborhoods and cities. With a little effort, you can have a professional and user-friendly website that generates leads and helps you grow your business.
